Do I need to be an athlete?

Not at all. My services are available for everyone. I do specialize in return-to-sport rehabilitation, but I can absolutely get you back to do the things that make your life special. From olympians to Sunday rec-league’ers. Everybody’s journey is unique; I’m here to help you with whatever your specific goals are.

How many sessions will I need?

Every case is unique and depends on several individual factors, including the extent of your injury and compliance with your home exercise program between sessions. Exercise compliance is the cornerstone of your rehabilitation and is necessary for optimal results.

Do I need a referral?

No. California consumers have the right to direct access to physical therapy, meaning they no longer require a prescription from a medical doctor before seeking treatment. California AB1000, allows patients to receive treatment for 12 visits or 45 days (whichever comes first).

Do you bill my insurance?

No. I am considered an out of network provider but I am happy to issue you a SuperBill so that you can work to obtain reimbursement from your insurance company. By paying out of pocket, you can bypass the bureaucracy of the medical and insurance worlds; there is no need to wait weeks for a doctor’s referral or insurance authorizations in order to get scheduled. No need to waste valuable time in which you could already be on the road to recovery.

By not billing insurance, I am capable of keeping my prices affordable. This is especially important for consumers who have high deductibles and are looking to avoid the high cost of larger facilities.

What forms of payment are accepted?

You will have the option to pay online when you book your appointment, or you can wait and pay in-person at the end of your appointment. All magstripe, chip, and contactless cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. Mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay are also accepted. We do not accept cash and checks.

What is your cancellation policy?

Each patient’s appointment is important to us. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request that you give at least 24 hours notice. You may cancel/reschedule by phone, email, or via your SquareSpace scheduling app. Cancellations or missed appointments without 24 hour notice will result in an automatic $50 charge. Please remember, this is a small local business and no-shows/late cancels deeply affect our business and other patients that are on a waitlist.
